About DataScoop
Governments publish enormous amounts of useful data, then spread it across giant files, separate local portals and capped APIs. DataScoop turns that public data into something you can actually work with: a filtered spreadsheet, a clean REST API, or a tool your AI agent can call.
What we do
We collect official open datasets (food hygiene ratings, restaurant inspections, building permits and more), show each recorded import date and source attribution, and let you preview any of them free. Refresh timing depends on the publisher and the service configuration. When you need the full file you pay a small one-off price, or buy a prepaid annual pass with up to 10 CSV downloads per day and API access. Today the catalogue contains 10,174,536 records across the UK, US and Australia, with more datasets added from a public research-driven roadmap.
What the records include
We publish official records about businesses, premises, ratings and permits. We exclude fields marked personal in our dataset definitions, such as registered-manager names. Published business phone numbers may be included; business names and addresses can identify sole traders or home-based businesses. We do not add personal contact lists or inferred email addresses.
