Governments publish enormous amounts of useful data, then leave it in formats almost nobody can use: 600MB files, per-council XML, APIs that time out. DataScoop turns that public data into something you can actually work with: a filtered spreadsheet, a clean REST API, or a tool your AI agent can call.
We collect official open datasets (food hygiene ratings, restaurant inspections, building permits and more), refresh them weekly, keep every row timestamped and attributed, and let you preview any of them free. When you need the full file you pay a small one-off price, or subscribe for unlimited access and the API. Today that is 10,132,832 records across the UK and the US, with more countries and datasets added from a public research-driven roadmap.
We sell organisational data only: businesses, premises, ratings, permits. We never sell personal contact lists, and we strip people's names, phone numbers and home addresses from every source that includes them. Every dataset we carry is published under a licence that permits commercial reuse, listed on our licences page.
