What is happening
US search suggestions ask for liquor license lists, new liquor licenses, liquor license databases, and CSV or Excel downloads by state. These are prospecting and territory lists for distributors, suppliers and service providers.
The state feeds are free and authoritative. The obstacle is that each state models licenses differently, so a single multi-state list is a cleaning and merging job, not a download.
What it disrupts
- A list of new or active licenses by state, county or license type becomes a state-by-state export and merge job.
- License-type vocabularies and status codes differ by state, so the files do not align without cleaning.
- Distributor and supplier teams pay lead brokers for a list the public record already contains.
Why it happens
- Each state alcohol authority runs its own system for regulation, not to provide a national, spreadsheet-ready licensee list.
- License types, privileges and status codes are set by each state and are not standardised.
- The feeds are built for lookups and small exports, not a filtered bulk list across several states.

Proof and boundaries
Coverage is the states DataScoop has imported, currently New York, Texas, Missouri and Colorado, not every US state.
License types and status codes are reproduced from each state, so they are not identical across states.
The address is the licensed premises or business address as recorded by the state, not a verified trading address.
Some licensee names are sole-trader names; they are reproduced only as the official license registration, and no personal-contact fields are mapped.
There is no customer outcome claim yet. The proof is the official row scale, the visible filter schema, a free preview, a dated import and the source attribution.

Which states are included?
Currently New York, Texas, Missouri and Colorado, kept under one schema so you can filter them together. More states are added from the public roadmap.
Is this official data?
Yes. Each state's liquor-license register comes from its official open-data feed, and DataScoop keeps the source attribution and import date with the result.
Can I get only newly issued licenses?
Yes. Filter by issue date to get licenses issued since a date, by state and license type.
Does the export include personal contact details?
No. DataScoop carries organisation-level license facts and excludes personal-contact fields.
Is the license status real-time?
